Have now been outside. Do not recommend.

On January 9th I finally left my flat.  To see my family - not the best way to bookend a break from people.

My cousin Jocelyn was passing through town with her spawn.  So I met them at the museum with my sister and mother and we went to the butterfly house.

Come the following Thursday I left the house again, to get dinner in Mosgiel with Firmin, Simon and Joe and then watch Paddington 2 (because reasons).

Then left the house the very next day for Part 1 of a session zero for my first game of Exalted.  I guess I have now signed away my Friday nights to play a nerdy healbot in a game where healing is fairly useless.... because I make choices.

And Saturday had me leaving the house again for pizza and watching DropOut.tv at a friends place.  I got there and discovered it was a birthday party and she hadn't told me when she invited me.  But I peopled.  Such peopling.

After a day in PJs, I left the house again on Monday, for the resumption of my regular Monday gaming.  We played Clank and chatted.

Wednesday I had groceries delivered.  I was having an attack of sad when they arrived so my week's worth of snack food did not last the day.

On Thursday, I had another family related outing.  Getting dinner at Jizo with my Aunt Ellen who is over from Canada and no-one had told me so I had no idea she was here until a few hours before the dinner.

Friday morning I finally got the blood tests done that I was supposed to get the week after Christmas.  I got home and cut my hair, badly as ever.

Then in the evening it was off the Part Two of the Exalted session zero.  I think we are now ready to actually start play (though I have little idea how the game works).

Saturday was a PJ day.

On Sunday I had my first D&D session in a few months, and first The Wilds Beyond the Witchlight session is much longer.  I realised after it was the first time I had caught up with friends all year without any discussion of the drama in the D&D community about Hasbro being unsporting.  The irony appealed to me.  And I made up for having not known her birthday party was her birthday party by bringing her an excessive gift of Kickstarter games.  One used, but one utterly new and extra fancy.  Now I can feel less awkward if she is generous at me any time soon, I have brought a brief reprieve from my insanity about letting friends spend money on me from her at least.

Today, Monday gaming was getting Subway for dinner and then losing at Sentinels of the Multiverse.  I got offered a ride home by someone who normally does not offer going out of his way - because it was an attempt to convince me to house-sit for him when he goes travelling about Asia later in the year.  I do not know him near well enough.

And I got my results back from the tests I had on Friday.  Liver and lipids improved.  Diabetes rather worse (which was a surprise as noticeable symptoms are less than they had been).  And my thyroid replacements are out of balance again, required dosage seems to be near constantly in flux.

Hmmmmm.  Blogger seems to have decided a photo of my face to show my haircut is a violation of community standards.  I know I am not the prettiest, but really?  Hopefully the review request will fix that.

I have not been outside at all since Christmas Day

The title kind of covers the last 13 days.

In my flat, not going out at all, not even to the clothesline.

The dosage change on my meds is not going great.  Sore, extra clumsy (cooking leads to burning myself too often, today I ended up with my fingers in a pot of boiling water because clumsiness is out to get me), sleeping badly but too much.

Mostly too exhausted to play computer games or read.  Or even to watch TV.

Have been listening to podcasts, mostly pointless shit, and managing little else.

I am fail human.
