Fortunately it was definitely not a date. We went for a walk around a bit of the town belt, then caught the bus to the beach for a walk around out there. Bussed back to town, got satay for dinner and then went out own ways.
No chemistry, no things-are-being-romantic, just a local showing a new postgrad some bits of the city.
