The coming off pain meds goes slowly and sucks.
Am now at the point of constant, if minor, pain induced nausea. I had forgotten about that one until it came back and then I was like, oh yeah, all 2008 was like this.
What has happened in the time...
Due to lunch out sort of for my mother's birthday, I have finally met my mother's partners eldest child (who nearly qualifies as a step-brother). Didn't actually speak much at all, but he seems a better person than I would have expected based on his father. I only hope I am better than would be expected based on my mother.
I got too panicky about a flat inspection to prepare for it at all. But then the tenancy manager was too distracted by the Lego to pay attention to all the cleaning I had failed to do.
Shitlord was back in town for a week, including being only a couple of houses away from somewhere I was (at the house of a retiree he had cheated on me with...). I got a bit stressed by the knowledge he was in my city - but he left soon enough I guess.
And I was asked to by a groomsman for someone I had not imagined I was a first tier friend of. So I have been fitted for a rental suit (not the best fit, but that is because my body is not human shaped). Come Easter weekend I will have to stand around looking as tidy as possible at a wedding.
Today the tablet I ordered myself arrived (and was left outside the building by the useless courier). So I have spent a bit of the day being angry at the Apple environment as iOS has quirks I was not prepared for.
