Though a "Diary" my online diary is a work of FICTION.

It may at times strongly reflect actual events of my life, often how I honestly perceived them and display my genuine reactions. But not always and everything contained within should be treated as a fiction.

This is also a personal diary, so by reading it you are violating my privacy. And as it is a personal diary you are not allowed to hold anything you read in it against me, as you shouldn't have been reading it anyway.

Also, this diary is not to be read by anyone who has gone out with me, would like to go out with me in the future, or suspects I may like to go out with them.

Specialist happened

After weaning off my pain meds, and thus constant increased pain since November, I had my neurology appointment today.

It was not the first of many like I expected.  It probably isn’t a helpful step toward having a job and paying proper taxes.

The lack of any notable advancement in my symptoms since neurology gave up on me in 2011 means there is no new information to work from, and, thus, that there is nothing new to do.

I didn’t get enough worse for there to be anything to learn, so they can’t help me get better.

Only hope is they are trying me on a different drug, though noted that I was doing pretty well with gabapentin so in the long term going back on what I came off might be the better choice.

It is all fairly depressing.  But at least this neurologist did a much better job of talking to a patient like they were human, even if he was a bit brisk and efficient about everything - so a big improvement on the last one I saw.

On the way home I fell in a shrubbery in the Centre City New World car park. It was not ideal, there are holes in me where holes should not be, and not in a cool Antman Quantumania kind of way.
